Youd have to be nuts to do that. The 8 PSI boost is going to translate into alot more than 408 PSI though. I imagine the 400 PSI is at 1 bar. When you raise the pressure in the chamber to say 2 bar, your theorhetical compression would be 800 PSI, if its 400 at 1 bar. I think thats how it works. Been awhile since gas law in chem 2. Thats why forced induction adds so much power, your effectively raising the compression. If i ever rebuild my engine, im probably just going to drive the car normally, except change the oil alot.
